Diesel Contamination

Featured Replies

I guess (judging by recent experience) that BP were probably expecting you to go through your own insurers who would then recover all costs from BP. Because BP had admitted liability you wouldn't have had to pay out an excess. Your company would have supplied a car again charging back to BP.

Still all's well that ends well.

BP just ask you to get it repaired yourself and invoice them, a few weeks later they changed their mind and asked me to send the receipts to their insurers, I did however contact my insurers and apparently I am covered for such issues as fuel contamination, I think there may be a possibility that some policies do not cover this.
