Clarkson Drives The vRS Estate

Featured Replies

Verdict:

"Great ride and handling, fast, excellent value and gigantic boot. Just avoid the crazy white seats."

Rating:

****

FWIW, Jeremy Clarkson has just had a vRS Estate on loan for a week and writes about it in the centre of The Sunday Times Driving section today.

Sorry about the thread title which was an unintentional typo on my part and should have read vRS not Vrs. I've tried amending it but while the other IT will amend this post title, it won't amend the thread title. Time to send some heavies into the site innards, I think!

He actually said something positive about a skud, that makes a change for him.:D

Surely not!

Can it be true?

Clarkson giving a good review to a SKODA !!!

Has Jezzer finally seen the light?

Or has he been kidnapped by aliens and replaced by someone with a brain?

All this & more will be revealed in the next episode !!!! :D

God he doesnt half 'slavver' on about the class system , before he starts talking about the car!! Nonetheless its a good review!! , the ride/handling comes in for praise i see.

Thanks for the info Dennis.

For others interested in keeping articles its worth buying as it has an excellent picture of the RS estate over two pages.

John

He's still a ****. :D

Hmmm as others said - lots of flannel and not much car. But a good review nonetheless.

He's a big headed w*nker.

One giant head on legs.

Like that geezer in the James Bond films.

Don't beat about the bush Steve , if you don't like him , just say so ;)

BTW he speaks very highly of you :D

I can remember at the end of the last series of Top Gear, when asked, a member of the audience said that they drived a Skoda RS. Clarksons response was that he had a seriously fast car !!!

Was that prase...?

Either way - I agree with Steve, Clarkson is a ******.

I remember that was either the priest or the vicar in the contest of World's Fastest Religion. Compared to what the rest was driving, "seriously fast car" was merely an observation of fact! :D

YES - That was it...

Or something like that anway...

He's a ******, but I like him :)

I like the way he packs so much information in about the car! Not.

It was indeed one of the priests, but I seem to remember it was actually a Cupra, not an RS :(

Nope, it was an Octavia RS - I remember 'cos wifey made fun of me over having the same car as a vicar! (Not once, but repeatedly - the memory has etched itself into my brain!)
