09 Golf TDI correction

Featured Replies

A customer of Ben (shark_90) had taken their 09 Golf TDI to a hand car wash & they left It In a bad state. I had the pleasure of correcting the damage. It looked like they had washed with a brilo pad. full right up http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=2060642&posted=1#post2060642

Excellent job Oz

Thanks Bryan  .

Now matter what John said about your paintwork, It isn't as bad as how this Golf came to me ;)

F me, how did they do that at the hand carwash?

Must have been grit central in the sponge :o

Number one reason I'd never trust a 'hand' carwash with anything - just doesn't bare thinking about!

I replied on the DW thread as well Oggy :)

Steve

Good correction  Looked like a fairy liquid and brillo pad job before :o

Im glad you've finally got this up Oggy

When i popped down to the unit the cars paint was in a sorry state.

I couldn't believe how much damage had been inflicted on it in such a short period of time!

Under bright lighting, the drivers door looked like it had been wet sanded in places!

The car looked absoluteyl mint after!

I know the next car is going to prove interesting, and will be very good to see some after shots of that too :D

Keep up the good work mate.

P.S i bet your loving the Kestral DAS-6 ;).

Thanks everyone. I dread to think how they had washed the car to cause the defects shown

Thanks buddy, I will try to take some good photos of the Passat.

TBH I am quite enjoying the Kestral Its just as good. The Kestral Is much more quieter & has less vibrations, but I wonder If my MegsDA had a problem from the outset. Anyway my faulty Megs DA has been replaced with a brand new unit thanks to some great customer care from MeguireUK  I will hopefully have this In the for sale section later In the week If anyone Is interested ;)

As stated on DW, the after shots speak for themselves mate and you have done a great job there............

Perfect set up with the use of the unit as well there Oggy and look forward to seeing the Passat and other forthcoming motors.............

Trust oggy to be trying to land me in it by bringing up the subject of your paintwork again Bryan :giggle:

As I remember, this is what I said about it:-

To be fair to Bryan though, the camera angle together with the low sun really show the car off worse than what, under normal circumstance, it really is.

Back OT - you've done a good job oggy.

As I said on Detailing World, that's a cracking job! B) Well done.

Now that's some stunning work...

I'm pleased to see that result as my Octy is in need of a similar revamp. :(

Thanks Simon I appreciate It  .

The unit Is absolutly spot on especially with the lighting & I thank Ben for allowing me the use of It.

As the reply to you on DW about the Blackfire. I really do like it on dark cars & the product goes on & comes off really easily ;) .
