Ebay FMIC for my 2002 Octavia vRS

Featured Replies

Hi all

Found this on ebay and looks like they are in regular supply. Have been considering an FMIC for mine for a while and wondered if anybody has got one of these or similar and what the general opinion of them is?

It's definately much cheaper than the Forge FMIC which i was looking at.

Cheers for that. Now why did that link not come up for me when i tried a search, oh well.

Not sure i like the idea of having to fabricate pipes myself tho as i do not have the tools or know how for that. Will double check with the seller if i do go for it i think

Thanks again

this is the exact one i have fitted to my car its mint other than i had to fabricate brackets for the mounting of the intercooler as the ones it came with were no use what so ever still cannot figure them out.

see this linky

mine is page 2 the red one near the bottom

Cheers for that vrs_1. So the brackets were the only thing and no changes to pipes supplied? If that's the case i will be ordering mine within the next couple of weeks.

Also, do you think it would be easy to fit for a keen amature who is not too bad with a socket set and spanners? lol!

i t is pretty straight forward but does take a bit of Patience to get everything lined up but great if you like jigsaws as it has no instructions emoticon-0106-crying.gif

i would also get some samco hose to fit on the boost pipe to DV and boost pipe to n75 valve although you can cut your own as i did as i had no option, did not realise i needed them

i had mine on a 2 post ramp wich made things a load easier

i would put a full day aside to do this mod

one thing i will say it is well worth it the boost feels so different emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

big thumbs up from me emoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gif
