Car Sickness

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Both my son and my wife get somewhat queasy when they ride in the back of my new CR vRS estate (I'm surprised it happens to my son as he's a police response driver!). They've never had a problem in the back of any of my previous cars. I'm wondering if it may be the firmness of the ride (previous cars were Mondeos and Volvos so sofas in comparison).

Anyone else had similar complaints from rear passengers?

And before anyone quips up no I don't think it's my driving emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Cheers,

Bob

Oddly enough, I only ever feel car sick in softly sprung cars... My daughter appears to be the same, she always complained of feeling sick in my old Saab, but hasn't mentioned it once in the vRS...

get them to sit on the seat, rather than in the boot. ;)

Have to say when I sat in the back of a VRS estate, it was like sitting on a bench.

One of the factors (not by any means the main one) that put me off the deal.

Don't know whether it would cause travel sickness, but I doubt it would help, I found it slightly reminiscent of being in a go kart.

SWMBO has a 1 series BMW on 17" run flats - they're often stated as being on the firm side, but certainely not in my view as firm as the VRS in the back.
