Wishbone bushes

Featured Replies

After a lot of reading on here I bought front and rear wishbone bushes. Fronts powerflex from Awesome GTI and rears from Seat at £20.34 for the 2 rears so from Tuesday the knocking will be gone B)

:whew:

Seat bushes are a much improvement over worn out standard ones. When I replaced mine I didn't feel the fronts needed changing.

Mines also in the garage on Tuesday for the same job! I took it to the garage beforehand and they put it up in the air and we could see how worn the bushes were so look forward to a better feel at the front end.

Got the Fabia back from the garage today with all new bushes fitted on the front end. The trip home is only a few miles and it was heavy rain and traffic so could not feel much difference but hopefully over the next few days will notice something. One thing I thought I had heard was that the wheel alignment should be checked, is this correct?

Alignment should be checked after any suspension work.

I had mine done as it was well out after I did mine. but I did remove the consoles completetly and in fact replace one.

Better get it done or you risk putting uneven wear on your tyres.
