Fabia problems??

Featured Replies

Had my fabia for a little over 6 months, I'm still loving it but, has a crack it's armour started to show?

Last week I had the weird window swapping, non-locking doors and mirrors had switched. Now tody on the way to work my wipers no longer work in intermit. Anyone had this happen?

I'm also gettin a crunching sould everytime I go over speed bumps from the rear of the car (and I am going over them slowly).

Dont get me wrong I'm not moaning I'm just interested if these is happing to anyone else?

Even with the problems I still love her to bit and I wont be gettin rid of her for ages!!

Have a look at you bonnet catch, see if you can see the switch on there, has it fallen out? This stops the int wipers working.

Sounds bizarre this, but check your spare wheel is tightly fastened. I had an earlyish Fabia and it wouldn't stay in place properly - I thought I had a suspension problem.

When such intermittent problems occur, sometimes it could be due low battery charge ....have that looked at, otherwise an ECU reset might do the trick...

ross you are a god!! As it happens the bonnet had come un-hatched some how, I may have to get the garage to check out the latch. But after I pushed down the bonnet and it was shut correctly it was all ok!!

I will check it out tonight, though I did notice that when a heavyish person sat in the back of the car last night the rear suspension did creak alot. Is it possible that mud/dirty has got in to it? As I did go down a county that was really muddy

cheers
