I know I shouldn't brag, but I'm really happy.

I pick up my Fab on Friday, and it was photographed last week for an article in Redline (Either next issue, or issue after).

It's nice to let people know that some of us do modify our Skodas. Jabba Luke's modded car was featured in Performance Tuner Magazine. Jason's (Devonutopia) was going to get a feature, but the magazine went bust. I think he has had a mention in Performance VW or something like that.

I hope when Redline does an article on yours, they will mention Briskoda.net. I may have a look out for it. I'm sure you will tell us when it is in the shops.

Bonnet lifter kit would have added some more bling to the engine bay. ;)

Coming from another fast diesel Marque, there's a lot I need to do to this one to make it perfect, I'd like to email you regarding some questions on the tuning of this engine.

I had a Rover diesel before with an LSD and modified injectors (different nozzles, different break pressures) + Hybrid turbo, I'd like to go same route with this.

This is currently at 215bhp, I'd like to get to 260............Would a VT5 + exhaust manifold + High flow injectors plus the relevant mapping hit it?

What LSD's do people use? I've heard ATB and Peloquin are used on VAG 'boxes a lot?

I wouldn't bother with VT5 - I would try to use a GTB2260vk like mine as experience has shown me a bigger stock turbo tends to work better than a smaller hybrid. It will cost a bit though - turbo is around 700 euros I think, but will need manifold and downpipe to match, plus quite likely other fittings made up from custom / bespoke for oil feeds, boost/intake pipework, etc. Mine took some work to fit.

That still on the standard clutch with 215bhp/360lb’s? Just out of interest :)

I use a Peloquin diff. :) Awesome bit of kit.
