can anyone explain or show me a picture as to where it is please?

Its at the back of the engine bay at the middle.

The guides on the website show it as being horizontal, but 1.4 is vertical - at least mine was.

It still looks the same so take the cover off and you should be able to see it back there ;p

i had a look but couldnt see it, i didnt contemplate it being vertical so i shall look again but it wasnt obvious when i last looked

Take the engine cover off first, 2x 10mm nuts under 2 covers and dipstick out, there's a spare oil cap under the cover and you can just replace the dipstick - stick the cover in the bin IMO, lol.

Throttle body will be quite obvious. Follow the big pipe from the air filter box, it goes to a plastic housing which is on top of the throttle body. You can't miss it
