Service Costs

Featured Replies

Hi All

Still loving my rooming since getting it about 4 weeks ago. In the next couple of months it will be up for a 20k service. What should I be expecting to pay for a 2 year 20k service at Skoda on a 1.4tdi.

Cheers

For my 1.6 petrol auto I paid £200. Which I thought was a lot for what is basically an oil change, a once over and a quick wash. The deafening passenger airbag rattle "couldn't be detected" and so I'm left with it. What ?!

The "recommended" brake fluid change would have been another £50. As I declined this - the result will no doubt be that any problems at all with the braking system will "not be covered by warranty, sir"

Getting mine serviced tomorrow -

2 years old but only 10k on the clock. Will be paying £204 for the service and also the extra £50 for the brake fluid check just in case!

Cheers.

Took mine in on Wednesday last week to a local independent for 20,000 service: oil/air/pollen/fuel filters plus oil, labour and MOT for £240.00. Quoted £25.00 extra if brake fluid needed doing (which it didn't).

Booked my 2 year old in today, and was told it would be £205 - looks like that's the standard Skoda price for a 2 year / 20k service. Hopefully they'll be able to sort out the lack of reception on the radio at the same time
