Octavia 1.9 TDi y2000 inlet manifold

Featured Replies

Did you take the inlet manifold off or just the EGR valve?

If you did how easy was it to get off? I'm planning on doing this at some point and all the bolts for the inlet manifold seem to be a bit tricky to get at.

Hi Mate, I managed to remove the inlet manifold (stuggled) as there is a fair amount of gunk inside it as well as the inlet bits and pieces, but its worth doing. cheers - Stuart.

Hey - is there a guide on this with pics anywhere? Not sure where it is or how to clean it!

Unfortunatey I don't have the car anymore, it was just a case of removing all the bits attached to the inlet manifold, some of the bolts holding it at the back are hard to get too so good luck. cheers - Stuart
