And finally...........our's has arrived!

Featured Replies

Well we picked up the Monster on the weekend! Just driven through themother of all storms to get home and the Yeti just shrugged it's shoulders andthought nothing of it. For all of you that are still waiting patiently…it is SOworth it.

The handling is remarkable for such a vehicle, with precise turn-inand damping that is uncanny in its effectiveness.

Lights on the Elegance are just fantastic, as is the airy cabin, veryfortunately we have the sunroof. Such a relaxing place to be.

Its early days and the transmission form 1st to 2ndis still a little tight as is the CR140 engine. Running the engine relatively quicklybetween 2000 and 2500rpm, but always allowing for the engine to warm up to 90º.

We will keep you posted, on our future adventures - now the next problem is how to decide whether to head to the Norwegian, Loften Islands or Sienna via the Stelvio Pass....emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

they r nice..........any pics?????

an you can post some of the KTM too

Oh = the Stelvio, always the Stelvio - and for goodness sake take some pics there to show how great it is.

Great qsracing, enjoy it! Some pics would be cool.

That's brilliant news - another one to join the S.M.O.C. B)

Can't wait to see the photos too!

You'll have fun with rain again today I think ...but TP have you any snow and have you changed your tyres back?!? And what about all the scotties? Maybe I need to start another snow thread :giggle:

Did you go for the internal bike holder? and if so start a thread on it or...hold fire- there might already be one...I'll scroll through the 24 pages to try and find it! and then edit this

and where are you going on your 1st adventure...

best wishes

Lady Penelope

Hi LP,

no snow at the moment, lots of rain mind and yes back on the Dolomites. Temperatures are forecast not to drop below 1 so I'm expecting a blizzard emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Regards,

TP

Good colour choice

Hi everyone, just a quick update and image of the new beast. It's just a mobile phone pic, so not the greatest shot. The other half, a devoted Audi fan, is blown away by the new toy. Steel Grey CR140

Ooops forgot the pic of the KTM 660

As for the 575...maybe I will reveal this at later, but once I've picked up the roof bars.

LP, for the moment I'm going for the roof bars, the internal bike carrier will have to wait. I might have to grow a bit though, to put the bike on the roof emoticon-0104-surprised.gif. The thought of all the mud from the bike, soiling the inside of the lovely new interior would be unbearable.

Thanks for all the replies, best wishes, Jonathan

Great looking car and great colour too. Nice looking bike as well.

John

Jonathan,

That is a really nice colour  and I love the bike too! B) So we might have an Audi convert

Re cycles...we are going on Saturday to look at a Thule 3 bike trailer carrier.

We have one of these cheap carriers that goes on the back window with straps from Halfords which we used for our old Rover Tourer but as the Yeti is higher it is proving too much to load them on and off- we're not getting any younger! :giggle:

... and the thought of getting them on and off the roof gives me nightmares!!

and as you say the thought of having them INSIDE the beloved Yeti is just beyond my comprehension too:o

Have fun over Easter :sun:
