Hi folks,

I'm looking for a thread i saw here a while ago which detailed ways of getting rid of all the annoying rattles and squeaks in the vRS.

can't find it now, does anyone remember it?

Nope can't find anything with this search engine.

Common ones are

1: Seat belt anchors hitting centre consul. Sticky fixer and a small bit of rubber fixes that

2: Glovebox, fit bigger rubber stoppers

3: Dash Squeak, remove centre vent and pad out the dash strut on the bulkhead

4: Rear seats. Fold seats forward and screw out the rubber stoppers two turns

5: Rear headrests, remove and throw in the boot.

I have completed item 5 but now have a Rattle & thud from the Boot area !! Especially when going round sharp corners

That's the list you gave me a while ago. Hope I remembered to say thanks.

Worked well. The only problem I had was with the rubber feet for the glovebox - my local Maplins must have had really old stock, and the blasted things kept falling off. Eventually found some glue and glued them up properly. Helped a lot with the extra vibration and noise produced by the uprated bushes.....
