Clutch Issues

Featured Replies

Hi,

Its a 53 reg Fabia VRS, pulled up to the house 2 days ago and as we put the clutch in, engaged reverse and the clucth did not come back up.

After furthe rinvestigation the is a 't' piece coming out of the gearbox housing, then goes into a flexi pipe, then to a solid pipe round the back on the engie bay.

Anyway the flexi pipe had been rubbing on some metal as it passes underneath and had rubbed a hole in it, obvioulsy expelling fluids.

We have got the new flexi pipe now and I have no problems fitting it.

Just wanted to ask where the bleed valve is, is this the one on the 't' piece just before it goes into the gearbox??

If so is it possible to bleed using the normal pumping method or do i have to get an ezbleed kit?

Cheers

Jon

the bleed point for the gearbox is under the battery, you should be fine bleeding it with an ezbleed kit
