The STS is compatible with the new TSI engine however some cars are now coming through with protected ECUs as per the CR TDI, and so on a brand new car it's hard to say whether it will be protected or not. The only way of knowing is to try

What Hp is it std?? typically 35% more power and torque, and better fuel economy on the diesels

People do bring brand new cars to us and it's no problem at all, but I would suggest putting 1,000 miles or so on the car just to iron out any possible teething problems. That's what I would do if it was my own car
