Cud win it easily :D

Done stand up comedy before and have some GREAT & ORIGINAL gags :giggle:

Mrs E and the kids kept the Yeti up in the Lakes today, whilst I went back to work in the "big car".

They ended up being locked in the campsite shop for 2 hours until the cumbrian shooter was dealt with....

Not seen the news tonight, but you might just spot a steel grey Yeti in the background !

Hey Lady P

No I didn't mention the 'issues'. Noises aren't sorted yet, she's not been to see the dealer yet - yes its Kings Heath (to answer your question from the other thread). Will let you know how it goes. You know I'm sure the dealer could sort them, maybe with a number of visits I just can't be arsed to put myself out and keep taking it hence they will get one attempt. If unsuccessful we will see what happens. Please don't think I hate our Yeti - far from it, such a great vehicle. Its more an annoyance - unfortunately one I probably wont put up with.

Will keep you informed! ;)

OMG Gilesmengland :( ...That must have been very worrying for you...it is just terrible...he has obviously just flipped which is tragic for all injured and killed... and their families but also for him and his family too. My heart went out to all those people in Boot who knew he was approaching- I cannot imagine what they must have been feeling- horrendous.

I do hope that they do investigate it really well and establish the causes to help stop it happening again...It sounds like it is going to be a combination of factors that just overwhelmed him... but no one noticed that the man was "Not waving But Drowning"...so so sad.

On a more positive note :sun: ...My other half has family up there - and pleased to report they are fine...I had just been on a W.I. visit to Radio Hereford & Worcester in the morning )very good- got to chat with Janet Ellis on a live interview) and in one of those odd coincidences :wonder: later in tha afternoon when picking my lad up from school, heard his cousin on Hereford & Worcester :o updating about situation, causes, aftermath etc...as she is a producer for radio Cumbria  ,

Strange world and on the news today I'll look out for steel grey Yetis!

best wishes

Many thanks - was initially worrying, as no O2 signal up there (part of the reason I like it so much - no email / voicemail !).

Once I'd spoken to the Mrs, I was a lot more relaxed.

My eldest has to keep a journal over 1/2 term, so she is incredibly excited - much more interesting than Eurodisney !!

By the way, off topic, but I got a set of Lidl roofbars today - not sure if they fit yet, however for £30 a bargain. They had 4 sets locally - all gone by 08:05.... TUV approved, 90kg weight limit.

Still no definite siting of another Yeti on the road after 6 months and over 6000 miles, mostly in Scotland!

Same here in eastern Scotland. Not one sighting except on forecourts.

i haven't seen any Yeti since i bought my monster 1 month ago.

Italians not always do "it" better

We followed a Muscovado Yeti down the A449 between Usk and the M4 yesterday. Car had been bought from Bamfords in the West Mids (??)

Wife has decided she doesn't like that colour.

well - I saw four, yes FOUR Yetitiesies yeti today as it happens. And before that I had only ever seen one inb mid-Wales.

The FOUR were having an adventure - so go see the other thread and the photos!!

well i never, I saw a yeti today,THE FIRST ONE EVER up here in newcastle.been watching everyday after i orderd mine[pick up end of june]been to dave lees house and met him and his yeti..both great i might say,but this is the first on the road i have seen, steel gray,[like mine]in a village called wark in northumberland.

mike.

Since they were announced, way back, I've only seen 2 others! A black one in North Wales who I naturally flashed - they waved back - and one the same as ours Musc', outside our house in N London, which I've seen a few times now so only counts as one. They were as excited as me and also waved... nice.

Where are you all? Are you all making up your ownership details??? I was in the Elan Valley 2 weeks ago, should have gone there this weekend to the get together - just to see if you exist.

Had a nice run out today, still no sign of another yeti here in Norfolk, if there is another one out there in my neck of the woods don't be shy show your self.

At least we have photographic evidence of our meeting!!

You could have driven our route whilst you were up here!!

Only seen one in my area (Stockport, Manchester) driving towards Bramhall Lane South. They gave us a big wave - probably were glad to see us and at last found a Yeti friend.

Saw a black one in Moira on Monday.

I've been there, and to Solva :giggle:

There is a nice mill there we visited.

Strewth, doing the internet whilst on holiday!!

And yes, that area of Pembrokeshire is lovely, but then I'm biased as I lived down there in the late 60's.
