I agree, I too life the white one but my other half had a final say for red as he's the one who paid for it.

Saw a Candy White one in Guisborough, N Yorks on Monday, and regularly see an aqua blue one in Saltburn. Drove to Paris and back last month and never saw another one in the whole journey, they have obviously got the real Yeti's knack for keeping a low profile.

Cooo.

I saw 2 today.

A white one between Llani and Newtown, who waved when I flashed, and then the dark green one aghain, just outside Craven Arms.

After over six months and 8400 miles, I finally saw another Yeti (white) parked in Paisley!

Saw two yesterday, mine on the back of a tow truck and a light blue one in a layby near Salisbury with the bonnet up

Saw my first one out in the wild for a looooong time yesterday, driving south on the A21 approx 1.30 pm, same traveling direction as me, a storm blue 140 disael which looked 'black' in the rearview mirror, I kept slow so the driver could overtake which he did and gave a flash as he did so, but no return as he would have been in the same conumdrum as me - you can't flash and wave backwards very easily :rofl:

I did admire the colour until I stepped out of mine :giggle::giggle:

Hi All,

Heading up to Yorkshire for a few days with the caravan, I'll keep my eyes open for fellow Monster drivers.

Chris. K.

I was in North Yorkshire with my caravan spotted my first Yeti on the road on the roundabout opposite the bus station in Filey .problem was I was on the top deck of a bus so I was unable to flash and wave so i cant count it has my first seen on the road ! We had a great time there very different type of driving compared to Norfolk , Yeti was great it was good to see how it performed on hills and twisty roads.

My mum saw her first Yeti on Wednesday.......AND SHE LIKED IT!!!!!:o

Still no chance she will let me have one as my new company car though..........:(

Going to look at a Mitsi Grandis `09 plate DiD tomorrow; my next best choice.

Bought an 08 2.4l petrol "Classic" in the end; nice car, but not a Yeti emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Saw another Yeti in Paisley this evening. Only saw one in nine months and over 11,500 miles in my Yeti but have now seen another four in less than one week. What's going on?

Having driven to the Lake District this past weekend for some camping and walking we played a numbers game driving up from London. I said we'd see 12 Audi A2s and 2 Yetis. Partner said 9 A2s and 5 Yetis. Well my record over nine years of A2 ownership has been 13 A2s in one day (exluding any A2OC get together days of course). So huge was my surprise when we actually saw ELEVEN A2s and the exact predicted FIVE Yetis! So we each had one correct and called it a draw! Up to that day I have only seen about five Yetis on the road ever, so five in one day was a record for sure! But alas they were all going the other way so none were overtaken or overtook us, so I could not really study one on the move... emoticon-0106-crying.gif

We sold our trusty A2 in January after 7 years of ownership. Very practical and economical great little car did 110K miles in it. I have found it a difficult car to replace, hence bought a BMW Coupe, thought I might get along with it OK. Bad decision just wasn't practical enough. Now that has gone and I current have a lease car (Fiesta) whilst I await the arrival of my SM. Ordered it 3 weeks ago so still a long wait hoping it will take over where the A2 left off. In the meantime still trying to convince my wife the Yeti is a good choice. Any suggestions? :smirk:

Awh! Fantastic! I've had mine 9 years from new. Just tell her the A2 was compacious (compact yet spacious) and the rear seats could come out. The only new compacious car you can get where the rear seats come out, is of course: the Yeti! Job done!

Noticed another Monster loitering around the Driffield area over the last couple of days but as usual every time I come across it on the road I'm in the wife's Corsa  Followed me into town this morning for a short distance which is the first time I've had a Monster on my tail other than the Wales Adventure.

Think it might be an Elegance spec by the brightness of the lights, in Aqua with a Deeside-Shrewsbury 10 plate; anyone from the SMOC :wonder:

Regards,

TP

look out for a blue yeti in Yorkshire tomorrow, going for the weekend - it is our monsters first real trip out. Then the following Thursday we are heading down to West Sussex for a week and back to the Cumbrian wilds via Somerset - that should see ours well and truly 'run in'!

Saw one parked in Victoria Park road, Malvern yesterday, Musca-whateveritis colour.:giggle:

Presume it is local, as I have seen it about in the area a couple of times

Followed aYeti in Norwich, then spotted a red Yeti later the same day. Must be the cool wet weather bringing them out from hiding!!

I've been driving all over south London and walking around central London and I have seen one a week ago in Regents Park. Are there really none around south London?

Or am I blind?.....

Seen 2 driving around country roads in northumberland, 1 in newcastle city centre, a S trim judging by alloys at the Metrocentre car park and 2 close to where I live.

In fact a 4x4 TDI SE drove by me this morning on way to the gym! They seem to be fairly popular up here.
