Removing front seats on a fabia

Featured Replies

anyone know what size/type of socket and torque settings?

thanks

It is a spline socket you need altough I don't know which size you need off the top of my head

I used a 8mm hex bit, a 3/8" hex bit also fits. Just be careful not to let the bit slip and round off the edges, slowly does it. I think the official bit is a 10mm double hex.

No idea what the torque settings are but my tip is get all 4 bolts in before tightening them down as this allows you to position the chair to avoid cross threading any bolts.

thanks to jonnyfive and gaverick,

will ask around to see if I can borrow one.

They are also listed by the manufacturer as parts that must be replaced with new when removed

Pretty sure it is M10 spline, but if not is M8. Definitely one of those 2 :)
