Hope so

My supplier reported there were delays at the factory - and standard delivery has increased from 6-8 wks to 16-20 wks.

i think i ordered 4 wks before you? mine is due to be delivered at the end of this month, after my initial delivery date was pushed back 4 wks

Yours was a standard 1.2 TSI manual SE?

Maybe its because mine is a DSG7 model

Yep. Standard 1.2 tsi but with ESP as an extra...ordered 10th Feb...

Similar to mine then. Got mine yesterday (see picture thread!) though could have had it Tuesday but was on holiday. Ordered 30th December.

was told on friday that mine has been brought forward to build week 16 so should get it by end of April too. Maybe it will be the travelling companion to yours Retro Gal.

Seems like I have waitied forever, but now the wait is nearly over!

Yep - really does feel like FOREVER! Can't WAIT until the end of the month. The only thing I'm not that happy with is the dolomite alloys which are not really my cup of tea. Would MUCH rather have the annapurna :)

You pays your money and you make your choice as they say. And to retro-fit alloys is very easy. Unlike retro fitting a sunroof for example!

Would love to but run out of wonga unfortunately!

Never even noticed what wheels I am getting with mine. As long as they are round they will do the job! Guess I ain't so fussy on looks. In the past I have always shyed away from alloy wheels as they seemed too easy to damage off-road and had a habit of leaking when the tire bead/seat corroded.

In fact the only alloy wheels I have liked are MJ Lee's hand built Mach5 wheels - but they will be a bit too big to fit our little Yetis!(They might also be steel so I may be talking bo**ocks - it has been known).

My 1.2 TSI DSG Muscovado Yeti ordered February 10th, arrived in Grimsby yesterday (Monday 12th) now classed as transport order and will be at dealers this week, so I hope to collect middle of next week.:rofl:

Looks like a few happy people getting Yetties (is that correct) next week.

Yes, but my point still stands. You can add alloy wheels later when the wonga is there. You can't add Xenons and a sunroof or such like later. ;)

Odered our Muscavado 1.2 TSI DSG last December. Was due around mid April. Apparently it's been built, but it's "waiting for a boat" and won't be here until mid-March :S

Do you mean mid May? That really is a long wait. I sincerely hope they don't delay mine past April as the tax on my current vehicle runs out 30th April...

Picking up my DSG tomorrow, ordered at the end of December, build week 13, works out as a 15 week wait, not bad really since they didn't start building the DSG until February. Mid May does sound like a long wait however, bearing in mind the other deliveries posted on the site I would be asking the dealer some questions like when they put your order in.

Good Luck

Mark

Oops! Yep, I did mean mid-May. Luckily we don't have a problem with our tax disc as you do. You should be able to cash in the unused portion if you have to buy a new one though shouldn't you?

Hmmm. Didn't know that...Just a bit of a palava!

I don't think it's too bad. You just fill in a V14 form which you can get from a Post Office and send it to the refund section at DVLA Swansea.
