Chatsworth Rally Show 2010

Featured Replies

Just a feeler to see if anyone from up here in the north east would be intrested in going to the Rally Show @ Chatsworth ? The event is held on Sat 5th & Sun 6th June 2010

I went last year for the day and it was absolutely brilliant , well worth the trip , took just over 2 hrs from Teesside , possibility of camping down there for the weekend if anyone is up for it

If anyone is intrested we need names to Oggy very soon so he can sort out the club stand ;)

Would have loved to go but i working that weekend typical or what

Marty,

I think I should be going again with my 2 brothers, I will know by Monday and send Oz the cheque. Have you booked the camp-site yet? I looked and the Sat is the last day of high season, just my luck.

If I go I think I will leave Friday late morning/early afternoon so I can get there with plenty of time to set up.

Honestly Tony its a brilliant weekend , if you wanna see the new / old school rally cars up close and seeing them blasting around doing what they do best its worth the trip & if we get enough cars for the club stand we are right in the middle of all the action B)

Cant understand why people dont wanna go to it :S

Its about 10 minutes from Chatsworth , got a clubhouse / shop on site

£30 Fri & Sat night (no electric)

£37 as above with electric hook up

Alot cheaper than b & b , and all you really need is the tent / sleeping bags / airbed and your fixed up

Um think i'll stick with a warm double bed and a nice shower and bath :)

Good man

Guys I booked my tent pitch today, it came to £36 with no electric. I was going to book an electric one but they have none left so I would get booked in fast. I dont know how they allocate the pitches but last year there is a field when you first go in the site which is basically a hill and I dont want to be on that! I think they allocate pitches when you turn up on the day so I reckon leave as early as possible so we can get a decent pitch. I will be leaving late morning probably, from memory its a 3-3.5 hour drive from Scotch Corner.

Oh yeah I am going to Morrisons after I have set up on the Friday to stock up on Beer and food for the BBQ.
