Hey guys, kinda new to the whole skoda cars. Just bought a 2001 Fabia 1.4 MPI..Over the next few weeks i'll be looking for an exhaust system..i'm looking to spend £200 tops. Want it to sounds pretty nice to, just wondering if anyone got any ideas? Thanks

depends on your tailpipe preference ..do you like twin or single oval...

Dont mind to be honest, i'm assuming single would be cheaper.

Cat back or backbox? Pretty pointless on a 1.4 imo, get it looking nice nice oem+ wheels and slam it on coilovers, go for looks as you'll not get performance out of it

Exhaust manufactures only make ones for the vRS, so your only choice is to fit one and cut a hole in the bumper. Alternatively you find a company who will custom build you one up.

poweflow or longlife do custom systems, if you can find a good dealer local to you.

Why put a fancy exhaust on a 1.4 mpi? Why don't you just save your money for something better (or put it aside for the inevitable repairs you are going to have to do)? Don't get me started either on people who just put an exhaust on which is out of all proportions just to sound loud and upset the neighbours but without any consideration of performance - I'd imagine most of the after market Barry boy jobs actually reduce performance as the inlet and outlet manifolds should be balanced. If you just want to sound loud why don't you just drill a hole in the back box?

this reminds me my exhaust is starting to go i have a 1.4 16v 111bhp (remaped), want a new exhaust pref a stainless steel one to go with the remap that has been done by a previous owner, however no idea where i can get one from any ideas? If not where can i pick up a decent standard one from and how much am i looking at? dont want to go to quickfit as they are pants! all help apreciated

Ah well, cheers guys. I doubt i'll get one now. Just gunna get new alloys, change lights. Car will be ready this wednesday Can't wait. Hehe. Want ti briskods stickers to..gunns buy them later Hehe.
