Featured Replies

The Wife's fabia 1.2 Silverline Estate (53 plate) has just been in for it's 1st sevice, I checked the oil today and it's rather dirty looking and it's low on the dip stick. Trying to locate the oil filter to see if it's been changed but can't find it, any offers..................... Been charged for oil and filter

should't the oil be clean looking?

isn't the oil filter trhe big white tubular thing on the front?

Yes - and mine still is after over 12000 miles. Take the car back and complain. Point out that if the oil hasn't been changed (nor checked properly because the level is low too), then how can you have confidence that everything else was done. Insist on the service being done again and ask for a free service when the next is due.

Dealers can get up my nose same problem with Ford dealers on our other car :thumbdwn:
