My Fellow Skoda owners......please reassure me that I am not the only owner of a Skoda who comes across these pitiful creatures. The main symptom is a compulsive desire to get past the Skoda in front, never mind the risk. The best cure I have found so far is a cheery little wave as you draw up alongside him/her at the next set of traffic lights or roundabout.

Talking of which. i was in the slow lane on the roundabout and there was this silver beemer that pulled on the fast lane. Both at the traffic lights and i was going towards the A453 (in notts) he wanted to over take me before the junction but i beat him to it, then he wack full beam at me from behind. So yeah ur not the only mate.

Oh u can add Golfs as well. Got passed by a Golf 2.0 TDI, i think they're bit faster than the furby vrs

i always push them to the end,unless i know the car they are in can really blow me away,which isn't that many nowadays!!!!soon to be even less,i hope!!!!!!!

otherwise hang with them till the next bit of long'ish "PRIVATE ROAD" and push them to 140+ they generally bottle out well B4 and go home wondering why a Skoda was keeping up with them,and passing them!!!!!!!!

dont get too many problems with audi's but certainly seems to be a load of insecure d*ckheads in bmw's & mercs

Do not underestimate what 230 lb-ft of torque can do when exiting roadworks (that'll teach 'em to try and pass me on the inside )

Mind you, they got their own back as I won't exceed the speed limit (too much), and I also made a pitiful attempt to keep up with a Skyline the other day

Made my way back down last night ready for work today. Set cruise to motor down the various motorways and without deviation of the preset speed repeatedly overtook the same Merc C Conv, BMW 330d and various chaved 306s and corsas on route. Seems they like to overtake 'cos they are better than a Skoda, but are totally unable at maintaining a constant speed on a relativly empty road. :thumbdwn:
