I can hear the turbo spooling up on my fabia vrs, but when i come off boost, slowing down for example, i can hear the turbo (what i can imagine) spin up a bit quicker, then hold, and then dies down.

The car drives perfectly etc, but its just when slowing down (when im part/off the throttle) that i can hear the turbo whisting slightly.

Is this anything to worry about, or is it normal?

99% sure the whistling loosing off is fine... at least mine does it (has for about 18+ months), and plenty others do. I think its just the boost being released as its not used?

I can only really hear mine with a window open and the stereo off... 2 things which rarely happen
