Installed ! Rear Mudflaps On Furbie Vrs

Featured Replies

Impossible you say ??? Done I say.

Had the furbie in at Horners on sat just gone and picked up some standard rear flaps for a fabia. Then spent about 2 hours on sat with templates and stanley knife and with a little blood a lot of swearing and yes some tears there on !!!!!.The main thing you have to do is cut out a section that will allow the extra thickness of the vrs bumper to come through the mud flap .This section needs to start at the point where the vrs bumper is fitted over the standard one and finishes near the bottom of the curve of the bumper.what i am going to do is get a few more pics so you can see where to cut it, for now though behold the vrs with rear flaps(sorry a bit dramatic i know)

well done that man lol

Game On  !!!!!!!!! Bought my front ones today, were the items you 'modified' standard Fabia rears?

Well done mate.

I'd be very interested if you could take a couple of pics of the cutting that you have done. (I know it means taking the flaps back off again, but you'll make quite a few people happy)

Not a big fan of Fabia rear mudflaps but good work all the same :)

My car seems to get absolutely caked in exhaust soot and dirt, however looking at the way it accumulates the majority seems to be caused by the turbulence of the flat back of the car sucking it back onto it.

Living in Cornwall, where mud is rife, I might just try it to see if it works. (For

Maybe some rear mudflaps from the WRC Fabia would be more appropriate? :rally:
