Hi, just a bit of advice if possible, my mother has just got her new Fabia1, she paid for a few extras including remote central locking, the dealer has only provided one remote key and one basic key. I complained but was told this is all you get now. Can anybody confirm this as he was a bit vague and had to ask another salesman. I don’t want her to miss out on a proper spare key. Thanks.

The wife had a 53 plate fabia (bought new by us) with remote central locking, one remote key one ordinary key.( Not the folding type either)

My Mothers last car was a 54 plate Fabia Ambient which came with 2 remote keys, maybe the basic Fabia only comes with the one even if you have paid extra.. Cheers for the reply.

The car was a 53 plate silverline estate which I think was a Classic with extra's ie:-

Alloys, remote locking and the leather pack, (steering wheel, handbrake covered in leather, Front leccy windows)

Our 10 plate Fabia Sport came with two remote keys...Very odd!!

Could this departure by VAG be the start of 'dumbing down' the Skoda brand as has been predicted?

I've a 59 plate Fabia 2 and that came with 2 remote fobs, the folding type.

We've just taken delivery of a Fabia S 1.2 70hp (facelift). We ordered a factory fit alarm. This came with two folding remote keys. The Fabia S now comes with remote central locking. Very pleased with the car so far.
