Hi all VRS Nightmare

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've had my octi vrs estate for 2 years and I love it or loved it till about a month ago. I had the DPF pressure valve break for the second time, then a week later my maxi dot display packed up £700 to replace luckily under warrenty then had new tyres put on and an mot, car all sorted!

I wish then last week got a mile down the road and my tyre pressure warning light came on, nail in the centre of my new tyre with a screw through the side wall. Thought things could not get any worse, 5 miles down the motorway engine cuts out overtaking a lorry. The RAC could not get it started so had to be stuck on a flatbed truck and taken back to the dealer who has had the car now for over a week and still has not managed to find out what's wrong so I'm stuck driving a 1.4 astra, not a like for like swap! The only good news is this all happened 15 days before the warrenty ran out!

god, i'd say thats super lucky! Imagine if the warranty had run out :o

Time to trade it in i think!

Anyhow, welcome to briskoda ;)
