Hi,

I need to find a Skoda garage/servicer in Essex/East Herts. I am in Stansted (nr airport) and used to use Laser Skoda in Harlow. Now disappeared! Can't find anything local. There must be something (and preferably independent). Or am I best off using an independent VW specialist?

Darlingtons Garage in Harlow have taken over the Skoda dealership, they are about another hundred yards further on from where Laser were, just drive along Templefields to the roundabout, turn right and you will see them on the right, they are also a Honda dealer.

I always use Clover Auto's on the Talbot Pub roundabout in North Weald. Independant VAG garage who I can vouch for, they know what they are doing.

AMD motorsport ( essex ) are based at lakeside ... highly rec. they do all my work on my car for me. They have an history racing vag cars and are in this years BTCC running a golf. and prices are good .

i would recommend going to skoda preston motors in forest gate, they bend over backward trying to help people including me . Great team and great after care support.

might be a bit of a drive for you though down the m11

I'm over in essex..AMD at lakeside are very good but not cheap,otherwise Prestons garage in writtle outside Chelmsford are skoda techies and I've never had any problems there.

A useful thread as I am also in Stansted! Any advice for what I should do with a just out of warranty fabia vrs?

We brought both our cars from Darlingtons - I thought they were extremely good. Skoda`s website only lists dealers in Letchworth and Watford around me.
