Booked half day off work after being told my rear ARB has arrived.

So as I get home, get changed, I can see a slight drizzle outside the window. I started to jack the car up via the most rediculous most idiotic idea known to man ... the VAG jack!!

As soon as it gets over a certain height, it tries to spin the back end round and wants to get off it. I've done the usual brick under both sides of the wheels, handbrake on, 1st gear etc. I've got the axle stands at the ready, but i cant get it high enough to get it on the axle stands. Its only lowered on eibachs. So I have gone off in a sulk, and I'm praying that the weather holds out this weekend, so I can head up to my friends who has two trolley jacks and i'll have another go.

If that fails, its off to uncles garage to get it on the ramp and let him do it. GRRRRRRRRRRR

lol aw, I didnt need any jacks to get mine on but mines on std suspension.. Trolly jacks dont cost too much! just pop to screw fix and get one..! or just ask a neighbour..?

Mine arrived, i looked outside and it was raining!! Still fitted it though!! Got absolutly soaked and overdid it on the first roundabout i came to!! Good times! You'll soon learn how to drift it!!
