Hi all,

I have owned 3 Skodas so far, a 2ooo Felicia, a 53 Fabia Estate, my current 52 Octavia (140500mls now!) and I have just agreed the purchase of a 53 Octavia (26700mls untill I get hold of it!) which I was supposed to collect last week but the garage said that there was a problem with the central locking making the electric windows go down! They said that the motor has been replaced and hopefully I will be picking it up on wednesday. Has anyone else heard of this happening?

I'm so used to my Skodas being Indestructable so I'm a little concerned.

Nice to meet you all!

Thanks Simbo,

I suppose it might be usefull in the summer!

One thing I did learn over the years is that if one of the doors' locks start sticking on opening then get some spray grease into the lock asap!

Otherwise as I found out, I had to literally use a stanley knife to cut a hole in the interior door panel to get at the lock!

Good lubricant saves money and pain! (or so the wife says anyway!)
