Straightaway let me say I have a problem..

Last October I bought a new Skoda Fabia Greenline car. The radio fitted is a standard 'Dance' model, which I have had trouble with ever since.

The symptons are as follows:-

problems occur when traffic report (TP) button is switched on. Interruptions occur from other channels such as Radio 1, Radio 3, Radio 4,

TRAFFIC is displayed on screen, channel is changed, but none of these sources have traffic reports. In addition, interruptions occur, may only be for 1 sec, BUT the channel does not change. Finally, when the channel does change there is a distortion in teh speech, like a person lisping. I hasten to add correct traffic announcements come through OK.

I have had the obvious done by my Skoda main dealer, and that is the radio has been replaced, unfortunately the problem carries on. Also this doesn't just happen in our locale, it also occurs travelling away from the area.

Anyone had this problem, and what is the solution please.

Assuming you are actually wanting to hear the correct traffic announcements? if not then the TP function can be switched off, otherwise I have no idea
