Gremlins??

Featured Replies

Had a new Headunit fitted in my motor today and I have just noticed that when removing the ignition key there is now about a 3 second delay before the cabin light comes on? It used to be instantanious, if not quicker?

Any thoughts?

how cann you get faster than instantanious :s lol

Yeah, should be instant, as soon as the key is pulled out the ignition lock the interior light should come on. I had an electrical gremlin once, strangely it was the day she'd beein in for a service...the 'one touch' electric window control button on the drivers side needed to be held in to put the windows all the way up or down. Later that day it fixed iteslf.

Also had an occasion where sound only come out of speakers on the left of the car...again fixed itself after a 'reboot'.

LOL - I fix computers for a living, its all so familier!
