That's a nasty mess Cliff. Even if the alarm does go off it does not deter thieves from smashing windows and stealing whats inside, they are in and out in seconds and bit off bleeping from the alarm doesn't worry them. Glad you sorted the windows out now.

as much as i feel for you, leaving a laptop in full view is asking for trouble...lesson learned i hope ..

laptop only needs someone competant in IT to bypass the password problem.

Don't worry it has 4 passowrds including hard drive and SSD encryption - they won't be getting through that. And even if they do it gets remotely wiped on connection to any internet. :thumbup:
