Every time I drive my mate's S-Max I am always impressed with his cornering lights. I keep on meaning to getting round to sorting mine out.

The S-Max has a dedicated bulb, whereas the vRS just uses the relevant fog light, but the spread of the beam on the FL vRS foglight is vastly superior to my 'old' vRS.

Which, as I don't think your car is a FL(?), probably proves the earlier theory.

It's like anything though, if you have it then you don't notice it as much - if you happen to see it for the first time then you'll notice it a lot more.

Grrr, I had my twin rear fogs activated when I collected my 2008 Scout.

The dealer was sure that they couldn't activate the cornering front fog lights though!

I take it they were wrong?

I think 'Mater' is in possession of the VAGCOM and he's only 10 miles from me, I'm guessing this is whats needed to turn them on, or does it have to be a main dealer?

It doesn't have to be a main dealer - I can foresee a 10 mile drive happening this weekend!

Although I may of spoke to soon, as 'Mater' is a deleted member??, but there is light at the end of the 10 mile tunnel, I think he know goes by the name 'vRSCarl'.............

Spoke to Carl, but he's not sure if I will have the control unit, as his is a MY2007 and doesn't. However, he has provided a long list of mods he can do for me.
