Hello all, recently just sold my Mark 5 Fiesta Zetec S for a Mark 6 Zetec S TDCI, that was untill I drove a friends Fabia VRS. Just fell in love, 6 months of saving now i have this:

fabia1.jpg

fabia2.jpg

2005, FSH, totally standard, 37,000mls!! Set me back the bargain price of £5,400

Plans:

Smoked highlights & HIDs

Black front grill

Polybush & AP coilovers & all the braces

New aftermarket alloys in silver

PD160 Intake & K&N pannel filter

Blueflame cat-back

Jabba remap

Any other ideas?

Welcome mate....

Nice car... Very good price.... :smirk:

Led interior lighting is a good cheap mod.

Lots of people doing the carbon wrapping thang.

Good thing about that is that you can return the car to original spec.

Get some bosch retrofit aerowipers on that badboy too.

De tango the lights.... Led parking lights and numberplate bulbs??

I recommend the blueflame but if you want LOUD then there are other options.

I think the jetex is a loud one....

If you fell in love with this VRS, why spoil it, keep it as it is.

It IS very nice and we all say Black is best. B)

Looks extremely tidy :) Very good buy

Wheels would be the only thing i'd add! :)

Ive just taken off the fabia badge leaving the vrs easy to do and looks good!

Thanks for all the comments, still owe the parents £1,000 that I borrowed, need to pay that off before I do anything to it...

...although I've just been cheeky and ordered the tiny citroen aerial, haha!

Yeah forgot about the wipers, those as well as de-tangoing and all the blubs will be done first.

Just fancy the blueflame, loving the videos on youtube, makes the turbo louder?

Wont go too mad with it, and will keep all the standard parts for when I finally come to sell...

welcome to briskoda nice car good price aswell

That looks a steal for the price!

I'm in the same situation where mine's completly standard.... at the moment, but i'm itching to get started on it. I suppose I'd better wait till i've actually sold my old car though, before I start spending the money from it

Welcome. Car looks fantastic mate. Looks mint.

I had a MK5 Fiesta Zetec-S a good few years back :)

Welcome, great looking car  Another vote for leaving it standard, the mod route is a slippery and expensive slope  Just buy diesel and enjoy driving it B)

It looks nice and you got it at a good price. I suppose this means my 04 vRS with 60K miles is worth less than I thought it was.

One tip. Don't bother fitting HIDs, there are some legal issues surrounding retro fitting them (just do a search on here). They may be OK if you fit projector lenses with headlight washers. The best bet is to fit blue tinted ones or higher % bulbs (e.g. Philips X-Treams or Osram NightBreakers).

The other tip is to do the engine mods (filter and exhaust) before you get it remapped.

Oh, and Welcome to Briskoda. :D

Welcome mate. Thats a great bargin you got yourself there. Id say do small mods like black grill, LCR splitter and a set of VAG wheels
