Am I missing something or does it say peak torque 302?

302.72 lbs ft from what i can see.

????

I had 173bhp/ 346 ft lbs and could get it all onto the tarmac very easily, only spun up if you were very silly, fastest launches were done by reving to 4000rpm and side stepping the clutch, minimal wheelspin and a 6.4 second 0 60 was achieved on timing gear, i think the answer to why bother is because it made me smile, no it wasn't fast and no it didn't really handle, brakes were very good tho.

Mine is running 172bhp and 340ft/lb!! And its fun and cheap to run with a heavy foot!!! It cost half of fuel a month than my old ibiza cupra and that wa running 207bhp and 275ft/lb!!

@ various posts above: 302lb-ft is at the wheels - it works out as 330 at the flywheel, and yes it's on a standard clutch. I'm running Awesome's custom remap (if the signature text wasn't enough of a clue! :p )

You are aware of how flywheel figures come about arnt you?

Of course I know a) that they're estimated, and B) how they do it! ;)

But then the engine's output at the wheels (as measured by a dyno) can vary according the air temperature, the quality of the fuel you're using, and even the diameter of your wheels, so neither should be seen as definitive - the only way to get that information is to take the engine out completely and run it on a bench under lab conditions...
