For the most part, the impressions are derived from characters in films + Tv series. I would have thought that the respective production companies will have tied-up the rights to commercial revenues arising from performances of these characters.

In particular, I'm sure that Mr Lucas has got the rights to commercial revenues arising from performances of the Star Wars characters fairly well tied-up, Worldwide

Alan Partridge is a character created for a BBC sitcom - the little @ symbol after the credit roll indicates that the Beeb has the rights. Arnie's terminator character is the property of the heirs and successors to Orion pictures etc.

Even Sacha Baron Cohen isn't doing it for love.

The total value of the pirated revenue stream may not be of relevance if a "Zero tolerance" attitude is adopted.
