rear discs

Featured Replies

Rear discs on my roomster scout are quite badly ridged . Pads are fine , mileage 19000. Front discs are perfect. Any suggestions as to the problem or is this normal ( car is 2 years old )

Just checked mine, 22k, and they are fine... but I had a Mk1 Fabia Estate that needed new rear discs at 20k, the replacements were still ok at 82k! Must be a duff set.

Hi,

I've had to change rear discs and pads in a '58 plate fabia estate, I'd done less than 12K miles and as the majority of the braking load is taken up by the front brakes the rears weren't heating up properly, therefore were staying damp, and corroded badly (they said !!)
