I have been toying with the idea of changing the Mesh on the Big Mouth ... I have kept my eye's open everywhere looking for something suitable... I was even going to use Two lower Grills & infill in between but the Top of the Opening is Wider than the Lower ....

So My Attempt below..

If you're interested the Milotec badgeless grille comes with mesh that looks very similar to your new mesh. Perhaps one could be adapted so that the upper grille matches the lower? Assuming of course that's what you're after as you mention you were looking to slat the lower grille to match the top

I disagree about the FMIC getting hit, chances are it could but loads of Jap cars run FMIC's protrouding from the bumper! My mate has a bug eye impreza and his hangs out!

I did think about the Stone issue & then thought about all the other front mount Car's i have had in the Past & the Minimal Protection they have had, even in standard Form.I still have the Old mesh & an swap back if i change my Mind I have even given it a Fresh coat of Black paint
