I have found that reversing in the new Skoda II is quite difficult due to the shape of the hatch.

Is there a recommended kit that woud be suitable... I dont really want to pay dealer prices.

I have fitted the Parking Dynamics PD1 kit to SWMBO's Golf as i liked the idea of not having to colour code the sensors (metallic paint is not recommended by some manufacturers) and TBH i wish i hadn't bothered and just fitted a decent (Cobra etc) kit, as it is fine when it's dry but there are numerous false alarms when the bumper is wet.

If you do go for one that requires holes drilling then make sure you buy a kit that uses std sized sensors - so IF the kit packs in you can replace the lot easily with another kit. Ideally fit a genuine VAG kit that uses the flush sensors as they look MUCH neater IMO.
