Are these totally booogered?

Featured Replies

Had the car serviced last month and while they were doing it they called to say that the front bushes were knackered and needed doing. To be honest i couldn't afford it doing then as it was the 40k service and cambelt so was already paying out over £500 with that visit so made a note and will look into getting them replaced later this year.

What i want to know is are these bushes totally stuffed or do they still look ok for now till i get them done etc.... I took some pictures this afternoon and i can see some slight signs that they are starting to split but the way they told me about it it was as though they were totally stuffed etc.... Just wondered how bad they were compared to one's that were totally knackered etc....

Hope that makes sense???

Cheers

Dave.

I'd say they are "starting to go" rather than "completely gone"

Mine were advised as "needing changing" and I did another 5 months on them :peek:

When they were removed one side was split right though on both spokes while on the other the 1 spoke had split completely the other had unattached itself altogether!

Do them, those lined between the spokes isnt a good thing...

I'd get those sorted if you can. :)

I would expect that to come apart when it's removed.

Thanks for the replies guys.

So what we're saying is that, as i thought, they aren't totally fubarred just yet but will need doing over the next couple of months or so.

Cheers

Dave.
