I had a set of the Crystal/Red ones from Dectane.de on order for nearly a month now.

No idea when they are getting stock :(

These are replica's, the genuine OEM LED clusters form the 'C' shape.

I think those are Chinese OEM, just not working properly with European BC...

I have written e-mails to 5 shops selling it, but they keep on answering "in 3 or 4 weeks" :'(

My post #46 shows the Far Eastern OEM clusters, these have the LED's forming the traditional Skoda 'C' shape.

Post #52 to me are replica's as they don't have the 'C' shape...

That guy has fixed it...

Remeber that the lights coming from China are not "E marked" and thus are illegal to use on the road in the UK.

Yea, but can you really see a copper pulling you over or the MOT test centre looking for the E marking on a tail light that is a genuine VAG item. They aint going to cause any issues with glare etc. and so many other cars running them as standard now that they will just think that they are fitted on certain models (like new golf gti and GTD)

These aint a dodgy set of Lexus lights.

There is another thread on here about these rear lights and believe a few people were interested depending on price, but nothing ever came of it. No one planning a trip to China with a large empty suitcase in the near future are they lol :).

On a serious note though surely someone working in a Skoda dealership would be able to obtain a contact in Skoda China for us to ask if it would be possible to get a number of sets posted over. Its not as if they would be fitting them to our cars so doesnt matter about the lack of E mark anyway.

I know some Czech people from Skoda working in Shanghai VW, but they just told me, that in China is some strange kind of protection of OEM items (not to be copied), that if you want to buy it as a spare part, you must show in service some proof, that you own Octavia...

BTW, I had white tails without red reflectors on my previous Octavia - and never any problem with police ;)

I dont think they look all that good to be honest, but each to there own.

The "dodgy Lexus lights" you talk about are E marked - they are produced for the European market.

If you buy these lights directly from Cgina they wont be.

Chances of getting pulled - quite slim.

However a much greater chance of not passing an MOT - remember come February next year there is a good chance a lot of aftermarket HID users are not going to be happy once MOT stations start cracking down on them.

Yea i understand your point and agree it was worth mentioning the fact that they aint E marked and thus officially illegal.

Just dont want this to turn into a debate about the legalities of these lights like the last thread did about them.

If they look good then people will fit them regardless and they look so oem that cant ever see anyoine getting probs

Not trying to be arsey at all fella so dont take the wrong way.

Yes,also for the Superb Combi. But still right now i can't tell you when they will be available. The only thing i can say is,that we are in the process of this project.

Be aware of Lambro / MLC-Tuning !!!!
