Screeching tyres and engines on the rev limiters all night long is the summer evening song around here, and I'm bloody fedup with it.

Knuckle dragging slack jawed wannabe racing driver in his heavily chavved up W reg ex Corsa thought it would be fun and big to race down our side street as quickly as his shed would allow last week.

After the 3 rd run I managed to obtain his reg number and reported him to the local plod.

They assured me they took this kind of behaviour seriously and would look out for him.

The following night/morning at 02:30, scummy chummy with his quite obviously illegal exhaust decided to blast down our road yet again.

Woke the whole family up and all of the neighbours I spoke to.

Rang the plod again and TOLD them I wanted action taking before someone innocent was hurt, and demanded feedback from them.

Give them their due, they rang me back to inform me that they'd been 'round to numbskull chummys house and issued him with a 'yellow card', and warned him if his anti social driving was reported again he'd have his scrapper confiscated.

So, the system of reporting this trash that they've been advising us all to do for months around here does actually seem to work to a certain degree after al.

I'm now on a mission to do the same to rich daddies little boy in his 10 reg Corsa who's taken upon using our local estate road nerwork as some sort of Silverstone alternative with his saxo and fellow riding corsa owning breath wasters.

Don't be afraid to report these morons. They might just get the message and it may just save some innocent persons life.

Just do it outside someone else's house and tie a bit of mono-filament to each one to pull them off the road when the deed is done.

You can report them and they can get a yellow card but how many times do you see on Road/Street/Camera/Whatever Wars where someone is pulled driving like an idiot who has had a flag put on them and they are just given yet another warning?
