Featured Replies

Im ashamed to admit it but i believe so....!!

Its now cheap enough

It has a TURBO

you can fit a DUMP VALVE

and there like buttholes with the spotty mcdonalds brigade

Are they the new ****roen Spaxo??

There also more expencive. So no.....

Too expensive to be a saxo.. + the average chav wouldnt go for a Skoda Badge

Your looking more along the lines of:

Impreza Wrx/Focus and so on

Insurance is sky high too on the fabia. :'(

Im ashamed to admit it but i believe so....!!

F*ck of you ****.

If this is the case then as a Fabia vRS owner I would be wearing a chavvy baseball cap and have a load of dodgy gold weighting down my neck wouldn't I????

From my picture below you can see that my baseball cap isn't chavvy and my gold isn't dodgy. It's that special yellow gold that only rich people can afford.

It's lilac and magnolia dear boy, not violet and cream. How common of you, you really have shown yourself up!

You'll be criticising my stripey polo shirt or my £500's worth of soveriegn ring next!

Now now put the handbags away :giggle:

Everybody is an entitled to an opinion does not mean its correct or wrong..

The Fabia VRS in particular is a car that not many chavs or the typical boy racer would go for as the SKODA badge doesent impress, they must be more afraid of getting laughed at even IF they could afford one.

A person should not judge another individual by a car they drive.

There are plenty of people who are in fact a chav who drive the following cars, as young as 17 I dont know how they get insured, neither will I say how they afford to own or run these cars but they are a still a chav because of their behavior and dress sense.

A few in my area drive GOLF R32, BMW M3/M5, AUDI RS4, AMG Mercs, Audi Q7, X5 and so on many prestige cars and they wouldnt even look at a Skoda Fabia VRS which makes me feel good about my car because it would ruin their RESPECT factor.

Well tbh i just keep seeing all these badly modded fabias, in my hometown there must be nearly ten fabias bombing around and all the drivers are the young boy racer variety, when i first got a vrs back in 07 the insurance was way cheaper and the fabia's werent bombing around, now there everywhere, just my observations, bite if you want mr roll!

Yes it's quick, Yes, it's cheap, Yes it's got a Turbo.

But

You can NOT (easily) fit a Dump Valve, (there's many threads on it). It's Insurance group 9 (not sure what Sax VTR/VTS are)

But the main problem is: It is a SKODA (where's the Street Cred)! People don't realise it's a cheap VW.

 Touché.

Hello

i saw this topic and felt i had to post really. i have abit of a strong french car background but ive been into my VAG stuff for quite a while now.

i currently have a GT TDI mk 4 golf thats near standard but it does the job as my cheap to run daily work bus. the car i had before that how ever was a 160hp saxo VTS track toy/. that car was my pride and joy but unfortunately i got fed up of 12.5 MPG due to the lumpy track cams and huge length on the injector pulses ( live map for the non technical of you ).

a good mate of mine is a french car specialist and has 20 + cars of the french variety, my 2 favourites being a 174hp rallye and 210HP @ wheels saxo VTS

his cars are not chavy as no chav can afford to get this sort of power out a saxo, however saxos are very chavy cars indeed. every Tom **** and Harry has one in yorkshire and 90% of them are idiotic morons who believe max power to be their bible.

i my self have recently fallen for the skoda fabia VRSs in particular one in black and im keeping my eyes out for one. i have never seen your typical boy racer drive one though. not in yorkshire, infact the vrs fabia is very very rare around hear.

P.S; the saxo VTR is a group 7 insurance and VTS is a group 14 insurance ( due to it doing 0 - 60 in 7.5 seconds standard )

Didnt think it was possible to fit a dump valve to the fabia? But im 19 and looking at one now. Not a chav or anything, just think its a cheaper and newer alternative to a vw golf. And in my opinion they look nice standard, bar putting a lcr splitter on!

lolol. nah. my old car is becoming the chav favorite now, the Corsa C. Because they're dropping into the correct price category now IE around a grand for a ****ty one.

Yes it is possible to fit a dump vlave to a diesel but why you would want to is beyond me. if you are contemplating fitting on to a diesel that means that you dont even have the basic mechanical knowlege of how a diesel engines works. if you did you would know that a derv has no butterfly or throttle body, instead there is just an exhaust recirculation valve with anti shudder valve.

oh and if you want a new car you can have my GT TDI golf for £2000

What has the OP been smoking. How many chav's would what a diesel skoda!

And if any chav has got one it's proberly there parents. Im the only under mid 30's person ive seen driving one in my area. I got mine at 19 and all my friends laughed at me. Now One of my friends want to grow up and sell his nova redtop for one.

i didnt say i wanted to. i had just heard elsewhere that it isnt possible to do.

At the end of the day you are going to get "chav types" buy any car these days. It doesn't make the car "chavy". The owner of the car makes a car "chavy".

For eg, Saxo VTR/VTS' are good fun little cars, VTS being very quick and both obviously handle very well (if you know how to drive them) etc. However if you get someone that buys one then decides to fit a 5" exhaust on, you would consider it to be very "chavy" looking.

An this can be done with a VRS, a Golf an A3 etc etc. No car imo is "chavy", what some people do to cars however can certainly change that..

Its not even about what people can afford either these days as any old sod can buy majority of cars out there and get finance etc its just life. An if I was a "chav" I wouldn't be buying a diesel Skoda, my homies wouldn't give me no respect know wa-mean? :p

Fabia vrs fast?

Its an economical nippy motor, but certainly not fast, and no matter what you can't get them to handle properly!!!!!

careful mate, they'll be coming after you with the torches and pitchforks

Just read the other thread now
