I havent been on briskoda very long but it seems to be a very noobish forum which is a shame really.

I thought my question was pretty valid.. sure Im personally not very mechanically minded in the sense of cars, but by all means it doesn't not mean I or any on here lack the IQ to understand........... :wonder: Could you answer my question then?

VRS Dovy; please learn the difference between forced induction, ram air induction and the epic fail of all Naturally Aspirated tuning, open to atmosphere / open cone filters .

Always had turbo'd cars in one form or another with fmic's, not tuned N/A cars as the gains are not as big on production cars. Dont treat me like an idiot, we, were only trying to get facts on your statements, no need to make scathing attacks on people.

Hi,

Just a quick couple of questions.

Looking at maybe putting a K&N air filter on my vRS I heard that some times it can muck up a diesel is this the case?.

Also I was going to go for the Celtic Tuning Remap however after doing some research it seems that there best to avoid. I have looked into the revo remap and have wondered if anyone has has this done on their Fabia vRS.

mine is celtic tuned no issues at all and they dont use generic maps they down load the OE map adjust that then upload the new one had mine rolling roaded at 178bhp and 285ft-lb ive done 5k miles and a trip to the nurburgring with 2 laps no issues at all

ps my car has now done 151k miles
