Hello, I've noticed past few days the hand brake lever has become a higher tension than since I got the car.

Had new rear brake pads/discs replaced 3 weeks ago (from when I got the car), is this a sign of them wearing in? Or is this a sign of them seizing up or something? Warmer weather making them tighter? (as you can see I have no clue.)

Braking seems normal and spongy..

id imagine the cables/calipers auto adjust so maybe they are now settled in

slightly off topic but can i ask if your pads contact all the way to the outer edge of the disc ?......and if so what pads did you fit ?

The pads probably need bedding in and they do take some time on the rears. Drive around slowly with the handbrake on and off will speed things up but not too long as you'll burn the pads out.

You'll find all Fabia rear pads don't go to the edge of the disc. They have about 10mm. off wasted disc space. OE pads will be fine, no point in buying anythng expensive.

the pads hasn't fill the discs completely, but will double check.
