Here are some babino NeNes and Mum! and some other adults too...taken at Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetland Trust down in Gloucestershire a few years back.

They are very friendly and will eat out of your hand very gently. They were nearly extinct in the wild when Sir Peter Scott set about trying to save them.

We have a love for them as my maternal grandmother was Peter Scotts 1st nanny just after he was born and when his dad Robert Falcon Scott went away on his final fateful expedition.
