Hi my name's penguin17 and I'm a Skodaholic. :clap:

I've owned a Octy II vRS since 2007 and have recently bought I a 2003 Fabia vRS, both in Black Magic - Keeping them clean, OMG what was I thinking?!

I love both cars and will argue with anyone who says that a car by any other name is better!

Sadly the Octy is going soon :'( Absolutely gutted, I do more miles now and it's just not feasible to fill her up every 4 days. I hope I won't be disappointed with the new one, a Octy 2.0 TDI Elegance DSG.

I've been looking at the forum for quite a while now and have gleaned some useful info and advice. Thanks!

Will hopefully get a chance to chat more soon.

A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. I've had my Octavia mk4 for almost a year now and I'm looking for somewhere to get an annual service. For the previous 15 years I had an old vw bora and had been doing a basic yearly service myself, so I'm a bit out of touch with handing the car over to someone else. I was a bit miffed that the dealership I got the car from (rainworth skoda) did an "oil service" that didn't include a replacement filter when I purchased the car, so want to avoid the main dealers if possible.
