Reset Insp on dash

Hi. My roomster is not due for is 20k service for a few month but every time I switch on the ignition and beeps at me and displays INSP. Is there a way I can reset this as it's starting to get on my nervous.

Yes,get it serviced it must be due if it was reset correctly at last sevice...Other than that read your manual it will tell you how to reset it.

thing is if you reset it early this time it will come on even earlier next time, it comes on at about 8500-9000 mils after last reset

it only flashes insp for about 20 seconds, if you push the trip button it normall kills it for that trip if i remember right, i see it so often i now can ignore it, (120k in 3 years, i have the thing flashing every couple of months)

It shouldn't be a few months away unless you do low mileage, but it is annoying that it comes on at about 9,200 miles after the last service, so you have to go another 800 with it pinging every time. I think it's because it's a mileage conversion from 15,000 kilometres.

I didn't know about the trip thing though, I'll have to try it next time

that sounds like it's faulty. Mine flashed with 800 miles to the 10,000 service.
