Steering Judder after suspension bush change

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just had my vRS in for a service, during which they replaced the front suspension bushes. During subsequent motorway driving I am noticing a fair bit more steering judder than I used to have. Should I be getting the alignment/tracking checked because of the work, or should I just be taking it back to the garage and complaining?

Appreciate the thoughts.

tracking should always be checked after any suspension work is done to the car... you would have thought the garage would have done this.... but then again, unless you tell them to do it , they probably wouldnt have...

if trackin was needed it would pull to one side rather than judder...this normally is wheel need balanced...

if both wheels had a toe in miss-alignment then i recon it would cause a judder too ( or toe out), something not right, get alignment and wheel ballancing checked to be sure,
